Welcome to the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB). The University of Benin JUPEB Foundation School (Unben-JUPEB) is one of the ten original partners of this examination board founded in 2014/15 as an alternate platform for admission into Nigerian Universities and elsewhere. Preparing students seeking to fulfill their academic dreams here at the University of Benin or elsewhere via a one-year intensive post-secondary school Advanced level in any three subject combination is our primary objective. Furthermore, this program caters for young and brilliant under-aged students below sixteen that have completed and met the five credits necessary for admission into the university-as it will provide an additional time to mature personally and academically before entering the mainstream university. Also, if you are a student who have satisfied the prerequisite O/Level qualification for entry into the University of Benin, passed JAMB but cannot make it through the Post-UTME screening process, then JUPEB-Uniben is the right place to be.

To train and continuously supply well prepared students in the basic subjects required to succeed in their respective university programs at the 200 level locally and internationally.
To provide an alternate admission route to young and outstanding secondary school leavers seeking direct entry admission into any area of specialisation within the University of Benin or other universities in Nigeria including international partnering universities in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and United States of America and others.
